Find a Boat Ramp is a free, fast directory of 38,937 boat ramps and boat launches in all 50 states. Our goal is simple: help boaters, anglers and paddlers find a place to put in.

Where the data comes from

Ramp locations and attributes come from OpenStreetMap (features tagged leisure=slipway and seamark slipways), © OpenStreetMap contributors, licensed under the ODbL. Counties and cities are assigned using U.S. Census Bureau cartographic boundary files, and the nearest named lake, river or bay is taken from OpenStreetMap water features. Ramps tagged as private are excluded. Official facility details from state wildlife and natural resources agencies are merged where available – see all sources. Data last built 2026-11-03.
